Halloween Double Bill – Howling 2 & 3
29 October 2023 // 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Join us for our first ever double bill, showing two peices of craze werewolf entertainment, Howling 2&3! Halloween costumes encouraged!
HOWLING II:YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF
“For those of you who gravitate towards eccentric cult classics and can find great joy in Christopher Lee having to infiltrate a grungy punk rock club in wacky 80’s shades … then Howling II is a movie that may be right up your eccentric alley.” – Heather Wixson, Daily Dead
When Ben learns that his sister was more ‘wolfish’ than he thought, he soon finds himself on a wild quest to Transylvania. Joining forces with a plucky journalist and a mysterious hunter (played by legendary horror actor Christopher Lee), this trio has to stop tevil werewolf queen, Striba, played by Sybil Danning. Think disco-era werewolves, eyebrow-raising fashion choices, and special effects that are so campy, they’re howl-arious!
HOWLING III: THE MARSUPIALS
“Howling III leaves it in the dust when it comes to weirdness, it’s a full on ozploitation film” – Stefan Birgir Stefans, sbs.is
Ready for a down-under werewolf adventure? Australia’s wild outback meets marsupial werewolves (with pouches and all!) for a exceptionally strange but always entertaining sequel! When a young woman tries to escape from her furry detstiny she finds her way into the life of an ambitious filmmaker who gets more action than he bargained for. From the Sydney Opera House to the Aussie outback, prepare for a cinematic escapade that blends werewolves, kangeroos, and Dame Edna
