THE PIT

“The Pit is a unique concoction of Canadian horror movie and After-School Special gone terribly, terribly wrong.”Canuxploitation!

Jamie isn’t like the other kids. A strange, loneley boy with only two things on his mind; naked women and his teddy bear. So when the randy pre-teen discovers a dark pit in a nearby forest, with something monstrous at the bottom of it, his evil teddy-bear convinces him to take revenge on the people who have been cruel to him. Featuring the best in corny dialogue, low-rent creature design, and stilted creepy-child acting, THE PIT is a must see for lovers of weirdo low-budget horror oddities.

So join us on our last foray into trash cinema before we take a break over the summer. As always, Lee and Daniel will be hosting this social screening at Archive on Kirkstall Road, with an intro and daft raffle prizes, and an on-site bar selling drinks, burgers and popcorn.
